Al Franken, the so-called ‘Giant of the Senate,’ can’t be seen with Bill Maher. It might ruin his public persona. The senator for Minnesota cancelled his Friday appearance amid the scandal surrounding the HBO star’s use of the n word that occurred while Republican Senator Ben Sasse was on his show. Does Franken think the same thing will happen to him?

There’s probably nobody to root for in the sudden diplomatic standoff between Qatar and the rest of the Arab Middle East. Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the rest are accusing Qatar of supporting terror. In other news, the pot had some interesting things to say about the kettle. But something good can come out of the situation: buh-bye Beheading Channel.

While others took time to reverently recall the feats of the men at Normandy on the 73rd anniversary of D-Day MSNBC’s Morning Joe chose to use it to bash President Donald Trump. Speaking of the men who led the invasion, John Meacham declared, “They created a world order that is now...under the gravest assault it's been in half a century.” The insults offered a sharp contrast to the treatment of President Obama on the same day in 2009 where Newsweek’s Evan Thomas declared, "I mean in a way Obama’s standing above the country, above – above the world, he’s sort of God."

As one of the most iconic moments in American history, D-day always gets media commemoration. But here’s something that many mainstream outlets won’t highlight: former president and liberal darling Franklin Roosevelt firmly believed that God guided the U.S. in its dark hour in order to preserve “our Republic, our religion, and our civilization, and to set free a suffering humanity.”

During a midday segment on Middle Eastern relations and terrorism, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer interviewed former ambassador to the U.N., Iraq, and Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad. Blitzer and CNN ostensibly were interested in having Ambassador Khalilzad as a guest on the program for his expert analysis and insight. However, instead of discussing policy, Blitzer instead deliberately derailed Khalilzad’s academic breakdown of the issues in favor of pushing him to criticize President Trump.

Deputy Assistant to the President Sebastian Gorka and CNN New Day co-host Chris Cuomo went head to head Monday morning. Cuomo began the interview by coming out swinging, claiming the President's executive orders on immigration were about targeting Muslims and keeping them out.

Last week, vehement anti-Trumper George Will declared that conservatism in 2017 is “soiled by scowling primitives.” Washington Monthly blogger Martin Longman doesn’t disagree, but he contends that Will is partly to blame for that sordid state of affairs.

VH1 premiered its new scripted series Daytime Divas on Monday, June 6, with lots of drama, catfighting, and controversy. The show is based on the book Satan’s Sisters by Star Jones, former co-host of The View, and follows the lives of female daytime talk TV hosts of The Lunch Hour and their behind-the-scenes interactions.

MSNBC’s faulty political historian, Katy Tur filled in for Chuck Todd during MTP Daily on Monday, where she dedicated a significant portion of the show railing against President Trump and claiming he was untrustworthy. “I'm in the chair for @MeetThePress Daily. Tonight we're focusing on trust. Do Americans have it for Trump? Does Trump have it for his NSC,” she announced in a tweet before the show.

Former FBI Director James Comey is set to speak before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday after recently getting permission from Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who is now in charge of the FBI’s Russian meddling investigation. Comey is expected to field questions about a series of memos he allegedly wrote that unnamed sources claim to show that President Trump attempted to interfere with the said investigation. During their Monday evening broadcasts, ABC and CBS were eagerly awaiting the day of the hearing.

On the Monday edition of the Fox Business Network’s Risk and Reward, the Media Research Center’s Tim Graham annihilated CNN’s lukewarm response to Believe host Reza Aslan’s vulgar tweet attacking President Donald Trump following Saturday night’s London terror attacks.

With their much hoped-for Seattle Seahawks-Colin Kaepernick dream team now reduced to dust in the wind, many in the left-stream sports media are crying unsportsmanlike conduct and some say he has a right to be on an NFL team.

Ali Velshi took a moment at the end of his broadcast Monday to parrot one of the Left’s favorite bumper stickers on the nature of Islamism. He gently turned to the camera, and offered to impart a much needed lesson upon the recalcitrant masses. These jihadists, aside from the mass body counts, broken families, and permanently disfigured survivors left in their wake, caused a scourge almost worse: intolerance.

Saturday on MSNBC’s AM JOY a panel of all Trump critics decided to blame the sitting President for all hate crimes on U.S soil for the past two years, forgetting he’s only been president for 136 days.

Showtime’s new comedy I’m Dying Up Here premiered on Sunday, June 4. The show, produced by Jim Carrey, centers around a group of up and coming comics trying to become successful in the 1970s. Right off the bat, the show dove into the controversial topic of abortion, with the comic applauding the legalization of abortion. He encourages all the men to cheer, saying, "That's a big win for us, too."
