Liberals & Democrats
Last week, vehement anti-Trumper George Will declared that conservatism in 2017 is “soiled by scowling primitives.” Washington Monthly blogger Martin Longman doesn’t disagree, but he contends that Will is partly to blame for that sordid state of affairs.
On the Monday edition of the Fox Business Network’s Risk and Reward, the Media Research Center’s Tim Graham annihilated CNN’s lukewarm response to Believe host Reza Aslan’s vulgar tweet attacking President Donald Trump following Saturday night’s London terror attacks.
For sheer hilarity and hyperbole it's hard to beat a recent headline on a Washington Post editorial opposing President Trump's decision to remove the U.S. from the nonbinding and unenforceable Paris climate agreement. "Trump turns his back on the world," it screamed. A close second goes to the headline on a New York Times piece by columnist David Brooks: "Donald Trump Poisons the World."
Ever since Donald Trump entered the political sphere, liberals have loved comparing him to the sleazy, power-hungry Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey). Released in its entirety on Netflix on May 30, the fifth season of House of Cards contained some eerie parallels between the Underwood White House and liberal fantasies of the Trump White House. The Hollywood Reporter tells us, “If this season of House of Cards feels prescient, that's because the minds behind the critically acclaimed series did their research.” The show runners “looked into what could happen based on what has already been simmering in America.”
Desperate for attention, far-left comedienne Kathy Griffin and equally liberal attorney Lisa Bloom wasted everyone’s time on Friday afternoon while the two commiserated over Griffin losing her CNN job, losing comedy gigs, and generally being embarrassed for posting a photo with a bloodied, fake, severed head of President Trump.
On Thursday night’s PBS NewsHour, Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) called out anchor Judy Woodruff for using a much different style of questioning than she used for Democratic Gov. Jerry Brown of California.
On Friday afternoon, Media Research Center president Brent Bozell joined the Fox Business Network’s Cavuto: Coast to Coast and tag-teamed with host Neil Cavuto to trash both the “sophomoric” liberal media’s attacks on President Trump and Kathy Griffin’s pathetic behavior since she held up a bloodied, fake severed head of Trump.
