Always one of the more egregious liberal pundits in dismissing Clinton scandals, MSNBC’s Joy Reid filled in for Chris Hayes on Wednesday’s All In and sought to imply that since Breitbart News chief executive and now Trump campaign chief executive Steve Bannon helped fund the organization that allowed Peter Schweizer to write Clinton Cash, the book’s claims are not just “false” but reckless.

MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews had always been a big admirer of now-former Democratic Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane, so he was naturally beside himself on Tuesday night as he gave a news brief on Kane being found guilty of nine criminal charges stemming from a series of leaks to a grand jury concerning a legal and political rival.
Tuesday’s Hardball on MSNBC featured textbook Chris Matthews with liberal spin (fretting over Donald Trump bringing up Clinton scandals in the debates), a decent segment (a touching tribute to the late John McLaughlin), and creepiness (uttering “what’s new, pussycat” to a female guest), but it also included a struggle with the facts as Matthews claimed that 2016 marks a chance for Democrats to control Congress and the White House for the first time since the Johnson administration.
Vox was, well, being Vox on Monday morning as criminal justice and LGBTQ writer German Lopez ruled in a piece entitled “Riots are destructive, dangerous, and scary — but can lead to serious social reforms” that he doesn’t condone destruction of property like what was seen in Baltimore, Ferguson, and Milwaukee, but there are benefits from “a serious attempt” by rioters to “forc[e] change after years of neglect by politicians, media, and the general public.”
Update, 8:52 p.m. Eastern: MSNBC confirmed Stelter’s CNN Money report on Tuesday evening as well as the details about how long and when his show will air......Despite his fall from prominence due to serial lying and removal from the anchor desk of NBC Nightly News, current MSNBC breaking news anchor Brian Williams will be given another chance to rein over a daily news program when, according to CNN’s Brian Stelter, MSNBC awards him a half-hour show at 11:00 p.m. at a date to be determined.
On Friday, the far-left site Vox was on display in trying to ruin the Olympics viewing experience as writer Todd VanDerWerff ruined his otherwise reasonable complaints about NBC’s tape-delayed coverage with short, pathetic riffs about the country’s Olympic broadcaster focusing too much on Team USA, no foreign journalist on the broadcast team for the opening ceremony, and claims that black athletes like Gabby Douglas have been ignored.
On Monday morning in The New York Times, Comedy Central announced that it will be canceling almost effective immediately far-left comedian Larry Wilmore’s The Nightly Show after only a year and a half on the air of mocking and smearing conservatives to the delight of television critics and other liberal journalists from coast-to-coast.
A few days after New York Times media columnist Jim Rutenberg wrote a front-page piece about “[t]he challenge” of remaining objective when covering Donald Trump, he joined MSNBC’s Morning Joe on Friday morning to claim that despite Trump sucking up much of the media’s attention, the media have been able to aggressively cover Hillary Clinton and her many scandals.
Friday’s Morning Joe on MSNBC saw the latest insults hurled in the direction of conservatives and talk radio as co-host/failed talk radio host Joe Scarborough and liberal historian Jon Meacham blasted “the most extreme voices in talk radio” from the past three decades for having “dumbed...down” the Republican Party and creating conspiracy theorists giving rise to Donald Trump making for a lack of “intellectual content.”
In a piece that was pointed out on Thursday afternoon by The Blaze’s Dana Loesch on Twitter, NBCNews.com and it’s NBC Out section promoting the gay community published an article that actually tried to argue that passing strict, liberal gun control would mean that they could be “even more relevant to national politics and to win over allies outside the community.”
Former New York City Mayor and Trump supporter Rudy Giuliani engaged in a tense back-and-forth with MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews on Wednesday night over Trump’s Second Amendment comments, but it was Giuliani absolutely schooling Matthews on the latest developments involving Hillary Clinton’s e-mail and Clinton Foundation scandals that stood out.
Reacting to Huffington Post reporter Laura Bassett highlighting during Tuesday’s Hardball that a Donald Trump advisor recently “called for Hillary to face a firing squad” for her handling of Benghazi in light of Trump’s new gun comments, MSNBC host Chris Matthews used the occasion to bloviate about how he “keep[s] wondering what she did in Benghazi” that has people so upset.
TBS’s Full Frontal and host Samantha Bee won top honors on Saturday for the Outstanding Achievement in News and Information category at Saturday’s Television Critics Association awards to the glee of the TCA after being snubbed from receiving an Emmy nomination last month in favor of the shows like The Late Late Show with James Corden and Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
As part of a panel discussion of the media’s election coverage on Sunday’s MediaBuzz, Federalist senior editor Mollie Hemingway chided the media for “going way overboard in just weighing in” on the presidential campaign focusing almost exclusively on Donald Trump’s many stumbles and questioning his mental fitness to be president without looking at Hillary Clinton’s continuous problem with the truth.
Showing how much the liberal media is in the tank for Hillary Clinton in this election, reporters at the joint conference of National Association of Black Journalists and National Association of Hispanic Journalists on Friday afternoon wildly applauded Clinton’s far-left answers to a slew of softball questions about immigration, the electorate, and even whether she has any black friends.
MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews was in rare from on Thursday night as he both factually tried to link the 1964 and 2016 presidential elections and appeared astonished that there could be an “intervention” (as has been reported for Donald Trump) for something other than “a dope problem or a booze problem.
Doing his part in the media’s minimizing of the $400 million the Obama administration sent to Iran around the time four Americans were freed, MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews spent a measly one minute of his Wednesday show discussing the matter only after his show carried portions of a Donald Trump rally in which the issue came up.
Washington Free Beacon staff writer and former CNS News staff writer Elizabeth Harrington revealed late Tuesday afternoon that NBC News has stealth edited a May 19 video of Clinton campaign correspondent Andrea Mitchell on Today denouncing Juanita Broaddrick’s sexual allegations against Bill Clinton as “a discredited and long-denied accusation” to simply saying merely a “long-denied accusation.”
Hypocrisy was on full display in Tuesday’s New York Times as the top story for the national portion of the A section proudly touted a Maine restaurant owner who announced after the Islamic terror attack in Orlando that she would not only refuse service to anyone carrying an AR-15 but anyone who endorses the ownership of the firearm.
A few days after the conclusion of the 2016 Democratic National Convention (DNC), TBS’s Full Frontal host Samantha Bee spent her Monday show reacting to the proceedings and, of course, resulted to bizarre and over-the-top vulgarities seeking to grab that included the suggestion that the patriotism displayed at the DNC was like receiving a “blow job from the American flag.”
